The commutative property of multiplication explains that it doesn't matter in what order you multiply numbers, it is still same
a*b = b*a
for 4.8 x (0.5 x 2.95) =( 4.8 x 0.5 )x 2.95 = 2.4 x 2.95 so we can justify these from the the commutative property which explain that it does not matter in what order you multiply
