What should Jason do when Rob asks him if he wants
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

A). Tell Rob that the location he is going to is dangerous and should be avoided.

E). Offer Rob another activity to participate in, such as going to the movies instead.

Explanation:

In context to the given description, Jason knowing about Mike's involvement in illegitimate activities(being a gangster and involvement in unlawful acts like theft, robbery, etc.) and being his best friend must inform Rob about the dangers associated with the location he's been visiting and therefore, he must avoid going there. Since Rob is a fresher, he must not be aware of these things and consequences associated with the involvement in criminal activities or senior like Mike(who's a gangster) which may turn fatal for his studies and life also. Thus, Jason must proffer another activity to Rob which he could participate in(like going for a movie) as it would help in preventing his access and indulgence with the group of gangsters which Mike is leading.

When fdr said there was nothing to fear but fear itself, what did he think fear caused people to do?
saul85 [17]

Franklin D. Roosevelt who is commonly known as FDR was the 32nd President of the United States of America. He thought fear makes people doubt everything which leads to uncertainty and chaos. When in fear people cannot see solutions and they lose faith in everything making “fear” the worst thing happening to anyone.

The Northwest Ordinance, the Quasi-War, the Alien and Sedition Acts and the Louisiana Purchase. From Washington through Jefferso
nevsk [136]
One could make the argument for any one of the aforementioned events. However, I would have to argue that the Louisiana Purchase was the most significant for a few different reasons:

1) Jefferson used the concept of implied powers in order to buy this land from France. Nowhere in the US Constitution does it say that presidents can buy land from foreign countries. However, Jefferson argues that this power can be implied. Due to Jefferson's actions, several presidents after him will follow suit and buy territories from other countries.

2) It doubled the size of the United States.

3) It initiated the US's policy of Manifest Destiny. This concept that America should control all land from the Atlantic to Pacific Ocean was one that was introduced in the early 19th century. The first big land annexation of this time was the Louisiana territory (1803). After this purchase, the US would continue to grow in size thanks to buying land from other countries and war.
