C. The US declared war on Japan after it attacked Pearl Harbor

Japan attacked the US base at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.  On December 8, the United States declared war on Japan.  Italy and Germany both declared war on the United States on December 11, to defend Japan, as they had signed the Tripartite Pact of mutual defense of one another.  That same day, the United States then declared war against Germany and Italy.

Answer:

C. The U.S. declared war on japan after it attacked Pearl Harbor

Explanation:

The United States hadnt actually fully entered the war prior to the attacks by Japan on Pearl Harbor, they had passed several actions to lend and send money, arms and supplies to any country that needed help in their defense and whose soveraignity was important to the soveraignity and freedom of the United States, this meant sending arms and supplies to the allies, but not actively fight the war, when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, the United States had a reason and a valud justification to declare war on Japan and by doing so, declaring war to the whole Axis power.

What ideas did john locke did thomas jefferson include in the declaration of independence?
anastassius [24]

Answer:

A legitimate government based on civic rights

Explanation:

John Locke was one of the first to deny the divine rights of kings to govern in the way they wanted. In his Second Treatise Locke came up with the idea of a legitimate government controlled by its citizens. This was very much to the likings of Thomas Jefferson, when he was writing the declaration, addressing the British King George the 3rd.
