C. The US declared war on Japan after it attacked Pearl Harbor

Japan attacked the US base at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.  On December 8, the United States declared war on Japan.  Italy and Germany both declared war on the United States on December 11, to defend Japan, as they had signed the Tripartite Pact of mutual defense of one another.  That same day, the United States then declared war against Germany and Italy.

Answer:

C. The U.S. declared war on japan after it attacked Pearl Harbor

How did the election of 1970 change the way candidates ran their campaign
Andrew [12]

Answer:

Students and members of the counterculture, known collectively as the “New Left” made up one faction, while the older generation of New Deal Democrats, which became known as the “Old Left,” constituted another. The convention descended into utter chaos as thousands of antiwar activists converged on the streets of Chicago, where law enforcement officers clubbed them with nightsticks and doused them in tear gas.
