Ok so this question:
y + 1 = - ( x - 2 )        (distribute the negative inside the parenthesis)
y + 1 = -x + 2             (substitute the y= -1)
-1 + 1 = -x + 2
0 = -x + 2                   (take two to the other side)
-2 = -x                        (divide the negative away from x)
2 = x

A survey of 347 high school students asked students to describe their
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

a. 68

b. 128 moderates

c. The percentage of females in the sample

Step-by-step explanation:

Total high school student = 347.

There are 95 liberals of which 27 are males and 68 are females.

Of 128 Moderates, 91 are females and males are 37 in number

To find the total number of conservatives, we have:

Total no - (total moderates + total liberals) = total conservatives

   347 - (128 + 95)

    347 - 223

= 124 number of conservatives of which females are 93 and males are 31.

a. The joint frequency for liberal females is 68

b. And the largest marginal frequency for political preference is 128 moderates

c. what does the relative frequency 252/347 represent?

answer: total females: 68 + 91 + 93 = 252 out of 347 students. The percentage of females in the sample

There're some old video games you sell on Ebay for $6, $7 and $9. The titles include " The Pirates", "Under the sea" and "The dr
Semenov [28]

Answer:

2/9

Step-by-step explanation:

lets create a sample space

so

the pirates can be sold for $7 $6 or $9

        p

6       7      9

under the sea can be sold for $6 $7 or $9

                              S

                        6,  7,  9

driving test can be sold for $6 $7 or $9

                            D

                   6, 7, 9

here are all the combinations:

p,6

p,7

p,9

s,6

s,7

s,9

d,6

d,7

d,9

since out of 9 combinations driving test is the only one that is not water related lets look at that. There are only 2 combinations of driving test which are less than or equal to $7, (d,7 and d,6) hence the probability of selling no water games for  less than $7 is 2/9
