Why would the present shape of the continents not fit perfectly into the shape of a supercontinent

History

After the split from the supercontinent, the individual continents underwent a number of changes of their shoreline. For example, the constant flow of water "smoothed" the surface, which meant that in some parts the land decreased (was washed away by the currents) and in other parts the land increased with the accumulation of the material that the currents brought.

This changed the shape of the continents in a way that they no longer "fit" together perfectly.

What is the relationship between the potential and kinetic energy as the objects rolled down the inclined plane?
harina [27]

Answer:

Of an object rolling down an inclined plane, the potential energy decreases as the kinetic energy increases.

Explanation:

 • An object that is located at a certain height is constantly being pulled down by the gravitational force of the planet.
 • Thus, the potential of an object to come back to the ground when suspended freely is referred to as potential energy possessed by the object.
 • When a spherical object is set free on an inclined plane, it automatically gains motion.
 • As long as the object continues to roll down the inclination, it is said to have kinetic energy.

Lynna [10]

Answer:

The main reason the colonists were angry, historians say, was because Britain had rejected the concept of 'no taxation without representation.' At that time, almost no colonists chose to be independent of Britain. But all of them, as British citizens, respected their rights and the principle of local self-rule.
