Answer:

The correct answer is option A.

Explanation:

Total pressure of mixture = p = 378 kPa

Partial pressure of the oxygen gas = p^o_{O_2}=212 kPa

Partial pressure of the hydrogen gas = p^o_{H_2}=101 kPa

Partial pressure of the nitrogen gas = p^o_{N_2}=?

As we know that total pressure is sum of partial pressures exerted by all the individual gases.

p=p^o_{O_2}+p^o_{H_2}+p^o_{N_2}

378 kpa=212 kPa+101 kPa+p^o_{N_2}

p^o_{N_2}=378 kPa - 212 kPa-101 kPa=65 kPa

65 kPa the partial pressure exerted by nitrogen.

As we know that

P total = pO +pH +pN

so

P = P1 + P2 + P3

378 kPa= 212 kPa + 101 kPa + P(H2)

P(H2) = 65 kPa

partial pressure is 65

so correct option is A

hope it helps

Use the drop-down menus to complete the sentences about air pollution. the burning of causes dangerous gases to enter the atmosp
Alik [6]

Air pollution is caused the burning of fossil fuels, resulting in the formation of smog and acid rain.

What is air pollution?

Air pollution is the release of harmful substances into the air which makes it unfit and unhealthy for breathing.

Substance which pollute the air are known as air pollutants.

The burning of fossil fuels causes dangerous gases to enter the atmosphere. Heavy, dense fog caused by dangerous gases mixing in the atmosphere is called smog. Acid rain occurs when dangerous gases mix in the atmosphere and fall back to the surface in liquid form.

Therefore, air pollution is caused by releasing pollutants air.

What are the similarities and differences between the water and carbon cycles?
Misha Larkins [42]
Difference: Carbon cycle requires life, and the water cycle just requires sunlight. So former would continue to occur without life, but the latter would not.

Similarity: They both use Plants as an Integral component. The water cycle uses plants for uptake of water and transpiration from the surface whereas carbon is used in photosynthesis and also form the body of the plant (through various organic molecules)

Contains only one double bond between carbons.
zlopas [31]

Correct option b) A saturated fatty acid

When only one double bond in the molecules that is also known as monounsaturated fat. If there is more than one double bond that is known as polyunsaturated fat.

Unsaturated fatty acids have one or more than one carbon- carbon band double bonds. That indicates the maximum possible numbers of hydrogen atoms are bonds to each carbon in the molecule. These carbon form double bonds with the carbons next to them.

Alkenes contain carbon- carbon double bonds and unsaturated hydrocarbons with the molecular formula is Cn H2n. This is made of chains where some carbon atoms are not fully saturated with hydrogen atoms.
