Answer:

The correct answer is option A.

Explanation:

Total pressure of mixture = p = 378 kPa

Partial pressure of the oxygen gas = p^o_{O_2}=212 kPa

Partial pressure of the hydrogen gas = p^o_{H_2}=101 kPa

Partial pressure of the nitrogen gas = p^o_{N_2}=?

As we know that total pressure is sum of partial pressures exerted by all the individual gases.

p=p^o_{O_2}+p^o_{H_2}+p^o_{N_2}

378 kpa=212 kPa+101 kPa+p^o_{N_2}

p^o_{N_2}=378 kPa - 212 kPa-101 kPa=65 kPa

65 kPa the partial pressure exerted by nitrogen.

As we know that

P total = pO +pH +pN

so

P = P1 + P2 + P3

378 kPa= 212 kPa + 101 kPa + P(H2)

P(H2) = 65 kPa

partial pressure is 65

so correct option is A

hope it helps

Which process must occur for a muscle to be able to relax?
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

A. The concentration of calcium in the myofibril must decrease.

Explanation:

Each time we move a muscle, it requires the joined activity of trillions of myosin engines. Our muscle cells use calcium particles to facilitate this monstrous atomic exertion. At the point when a muscle cell is given the sign to contract from its related nerves, it discharges a surge of calcium particles from an uncommon intracellular holder, the sarcoplasmic reticulum that encompasses the groups of actin and myosin fibers.

The calcium particles quickly spread and tie to Tropomyosin on the actin fibers. They move shape somewhat and enable myosin to tie and start moving up the fiber. These trillions of myosin engines will keep climbing, getting the muscle, until the calcium is evacuated.

The calcium pump enables muscles to relax after this furious flood of calcium-instigated constriction. The siphon is found in the film of the sarcoplasmic reticulum.

The diagram below shows the stump of a tree whose root grew into a small crack in bedrock and split the rock apart.
Drupady [299]

Answer:

Physical Weathering

Explanation:

As per the given conditions in the question, the primary effect is mechanical action which is also known as a physical weathering. During mechanical action, a rock is disintegrated into the smaller pieces. In the given statement, the root of tree would grow in the crack and try to develop a strong network to get nutrients necessary for tha tree growth. Thus, the root would exert a pressure in the crack to make more space for its growth and development (root network). This is primarily a mechanical action and an example of physical weathering.

2)Through the action of osteoclasts,
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

Osteoclasts are the type of cells which are responsible for the absorption of calcium from bones.

Explanation:

Osteoclasts is special type of cells which is released by parathyroid gland when the blood have low levels of calcium. Osteoclasts absorb calcium from the bones and add this calcium into the blood to increase the calcium level. If calcium is present in very high amount so this calcium is stored in the bones of the body and extracted when needed by the body.
