Answer:

The correct answer is option A.

Explanation:

Total pressure of mixture = p = 378 kPa

Partial pressure of the oxygen gas = p^o_{O_2}=212 kPa

Partial pressure of the hydrogen gas = p^o_{H_2}=101 kPa

Partial pressure of the nitrogen gas = p^o_{N_2}=?

As we know that total pressure is sum of partial pressures exerted by all the individual gases.

p=p^o_{O_2}+p^o_{H_2}+p^o_{N_2}

378 kpa=212 kPa+101 kPa+p^o_{N_2}

p^o_{N_2}=378 kPa - 212 kPa-101 kPa=65 kPa

65 kPa the partial pressure exerted by nitrogen.

As we know that

P total = pO +pH +pN

so

P = P1 + P2 + P3

378 kPa= 212 kPa + 101 kPa + P(H2)

P(H2) = 65 kPa

partial pressure is 65

so correct option is A

hope it helps

How do cells maintain water balance through osmosis?
neonofarm [45]
Water then moves from cell to cell through the root cortex by osmosisalong a concentration gradient; this means that each cell is hypertonic to the one before it. In the centre of the root the water enters the xylem vessels. Water may move by diffusionthrough the cell walls and intercellular spaces.

C) As hydrilla is aquatic in nature, the roots do not have to search for water, and there is no need for xylem to absorb water because the plant is surrounded by water.

Olenka [21]

Answer: Option D.

After recovery from general anesthesia.

Explanation:

Wind up in animals is a situation whereby there is increase in pain on the affected area due to high stimulus that is given above the normal level. These is caused by continuous stimulation of group c peripheral nerve fibres of the nervous system.

Wind up occur in animals after recovery from general anesthesia because the peripheral nerve fibres are continuously stimulated to cause windup.
