The value of b is 4

Step-by-step explanation:

The form of an exponential function is f(x)=a(b)^{x} , where

  • a is the initial value (value f(x) at x = 0
  • b is the growth/decay factor
  • T find the values of a and b substitute x and f(x) by the coordinates of any points belong to the function

∵ f(x)=b^{x}

∵ The function includes the points (2 , 16) , (3 , 64) , (4 , 256)

- To find b substitute x and f(x) by the coordinates if any point above

∵ x = 2 and f(x) = 16

∴ 16=(b)^{2}

- Take √ for both sides

∴ ± 4 = b

Substitute x by 3 and f(x) 64 to check your answer

∵ 64=(b)^{3}

- Take ∛ for both sides

∴ 4 = b

∴ The value of b is 4 only

The value of b is 4

An angle measures 32degrees what is the measure of its complement
Alex787 [66]

The measure of 32° complement is 58°.

<h3>What is an angle?</h3>

An angle is a geometry in plane geometry that is created by 2 rays or lines that have an identical terminus.

The identical endpoint of the two rays—known as the vertex—is referenced as an angle's sides.

The angle is the measurement of the angular distance for example for linear motion we have a meter inch but for angular rotation, we don't have the measurement so the angle is useful to measure the angular rotation.

Given,

The measure of an angle = 32°

Complimentary angles are those angles whose sum is 90°

So,

Compliment + 32° = 90°

Compliment = 90 - 32 = 58°.

Hence "The measure of 32° complement is 58°".

Monique bought a shirt for $22.80 during a 30% off sale. How much does the shirt cost when it is not on sale?
spin [16.1K]

Answer:

29.64

Step-by-step explanation:

First we multiply 0.3 with 22.8.This will give us 6.84 which is the 30% off.Now we add 22.80 and 6.84 and we will get our answer 29.64.
