-5(8m+-7)= 35+8m +0+0+0+0

multiply the bracket by -5

(-5)(8m)=-40m

(-5)(+-7)=-5*-7=35

-40m+35=35+8m+0

move +8m to the other side

sign changes from +8m to -8m

-40m-8m+35=35+8m-8m+0

-48m+35=35+0

-48m+35=35

move +35 to the right side

-48m+35-35=35-35

-48m=0

divide both sides by -48 to get +m

get m by itself

-48m/-48=0/-48

Answer:

m=0

The image below shows two dilated figures with lines IJ and JK drawn. If the smaller figure was dilated by a scale factor of 2,
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

IJ = 2*KL

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the smaller figure was dilated to create the bigger figure with a scale factor of 2, it therefore means, the dimensions of the smaller figure was increased by times 2 of its dimensions to create the bigger figure.

Thus, the relationship that would exist between line IJ and KL, is that IJ is twice the size of KL.

The relationship is: IJ = 2*KL
