The correct answer is B. Incomplete dominance

Explanation:

In genetics, incomplete dominance occurs as two alleles (forms of genes) lead to a new phenotype because there is no dominance or complete expression of one of the alleles but a combination of both. Incomplete alleles can be seen in the case presented because the alleles that determine color in the flowers have combined, this means neither the allele that leads to blue flowers nor the allele that leads to yellow flowers express completely but both combine; this is the reason the offspring have green flowers as blue and yellow lead to blue color.

Option B

Blue and yellow are co-dominant traits and none of these traits are expressed individually in the off springs. Green color is produced after the combination of yellow and blue trait.

Tell me a little about prokaryotes and eukaryotes. What do these types of cells have in common? How are they different?
beks73 [17]

Hi There!

Tell me a little about prokaryotic and eukaryotes.

What do these types of cells have in common?

How are they different?

2 very common similarities between the types of cells is that they both have a certain type of structure and all cells have a plasma membrane, DNA, ribosome, etc. They are different in a way that eukaryotes have a "membrane-bound organelle" which usualy includes it having a nucleus. Whats cool is that eukaryotes can be multicellular or singled celled> For Example, plants, insects, and fungi. Prokaryotes don't have a nucleus or organelle (membrane bound).

Hope This Helps :)

Which of the following types of reproductive barriers separates a pair of insect species that could interbreed except that one m
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

Answer is B, habitat isolation.

Explanation:

Habitat isolation can simply be explained as a situation whereby two insects or organisms of the same species, that have the ability to meet and reproduce could not, because they are living in different habitats.

These different habitats might even be in the same geographical location or area. That is, one insect might be living in or on the surface of the water, and the other living in the soil or the tree. Due to this effect, the insects are unlikely to meet and reproduce.

What evidence does the dische test provide that helps confirm that dna was extracted from the strawberries. Why do you think it
vfiekz [6]

Ripe strawberries are an excellent source for extracting DNA because they are easy to pulverize and contain enzymes called pectinases and cellulases that help to break down cell walls. And most important, strawberries have eight copies of each chromosome (they are octoploid), so there is a lot of DNA to isolate.

What does DNA extracted from a strawberry look like?

Observe the line between the strawberry mixture and the alcohol. You will notice a white thread-like cloud appearing at this line. This is strawberry DNA. The DNA will clump together and float to the top of the alcohol layer.

What is unique about strawberry DNA?

Strawberries yield more DNA than any other fruit because they have eight copies of each type of chromosome. The long, thick fibers of DNA store the information for the functioning of the chemistry of life. DNA is present in every cell of plants and animals.

We intention extract DNA from fruit to investigate how it examines and feels. This procedure is identical to what scientists have to do before they can use the statement contained in this DNA. This announcement can be used to enhance crops so that they are more resistant to infection, insect invasion, or differences in climate.

From the provided choices, which color of light does the pigment chlorophyll absorb the most?
vredina [299]

Answer:

What color light is best absorbed by chlorophyll?

As shown in detail in the absorption spectra, chlorophyll absorbs light in the red (long wavelength) and the blue (short wavelength) regions of the visible light spectrum. Green light is not absorbed but reflected, making the plant appear green. Chlorophyll is found in the chloroplasts of plants.
