Answer:

We prize America as a land of opportunity.

We let technology guide how we communicate.

Explanation:

The ENTIRE Civil War was about money, taxation and growing the power of a federal government over individual state rights. The end of slavery was not intended at the time the war started as most of the worlds countries at the time used slavery and serfdom to build their economies.

The only compromise that could have headed off war by then was for the Southern states to forgo secession and agree to abolition. ... But without it, there would likely have been no Union to defend in the Civil War.

…Whenever the legislators [lawmakers] try to take away, and destroy the property of the People, or to reduce them to Slavery und
Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

People have the right to stop doing what the government says.

Explanation:

According to the text, when the legislators of a region take maleficent attitudes to the people, such as destroying the people's property, taking away all their autonomy and placing them as slaves, the legislators promote the existence of civil disobedience. This is because, since the people are hurt by their legislators, the people have the complete right to fight back and refuse to do what the government determines.
