Answer:

x=2 y=8

(2,8)

Step-by-step explanation:

y=2x +4

y=x+6

--------------

write it in standard form to add (its easier this way)

----------------

-2x+y=4

-x+y=6

multiply the second one by -1 (so we can cancel out the y's)

-2x+y=4

x-y=-6

add now

-x=-2

divide by -1

x=2

sub 2 for x in this equation: y=x+6

y=2+6

y=8

soooo

x=2 and y=8

(2,8)

YaYYYY u got it!!!! :)

Step 2) Take that point and move it 8 squares to left then 9 down

Step 3) You should get (-3,-4). If you didn't let me know. :)

Step 4) ABout how many units are they away from each other?

Step 5) Hint: add the units you needed to move.

The area of a trapezoid is 36.36 square centimeters. One base of the trapezoid is 14.8 centimeters. Its height is 3.6 centimeter
zmey [24]
The third answer (Dividing the area by the height, multiplying the quotient, etc) is correct.

If we multiply by the height, we receive an expression equal to the sum of the bases divided by two.  Multiplying by two, we now have the sum of the bases.  Subtracting one base gives the length of the other base.
