If x is the number of units, 600x dollars is the cost of manufacturing all the units, and 900x dollars is the revenue of the sales.
Break even is when the cost=revenue.
200000+600x=900x. 300x=200000, x=200000/300=2000/3=667 approx. There is a small profit of $100 but 666 units actually incurs a loss of $200. The break-even seems to be 667 units.

kogti [31]

Answer:

$819

Step-by-step explanation:

First we find the area of the wall so we multiply 13ft x 9ft.

13ft x 9ft = 117ft

We know each square foot is equal to $7. So now we multiply 117 x 7 to get the total cost.

117 x 7 = $819

Prove this conjecture
steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the natural number n(n+1)(n+2).

If n is the natural number, then n+1, \ n+2 are next two natural numbers, so numbers n,\ n+1 and n+2 are three consecutive numbers.

Given three consecutive natural numbers, one of them is always even number and one of them is always multiple of 3, so the product

n(n+1)(n+2)

is divisible by 6.

Ms. Lane borrowed $1,000 from her bank for one year at an interest rate of 10 percent. During that year, the price level went up
Lunna [17]

Answer:

Consider the complete question is,

'Ms. Lane borrowed $1,000 from her bank for one year at an interest rate of 10 percent. During that year, the price level went up by 15 percent. Which of the following statements is correct?

a. Ms. Lane will repay the bank fewer dollars than she initially borrowed.

b. Ms. Lane's repayment will give the bank less purchasing power than it originally loaned her.

c. Ms. Lane's repayment will give the bank greater purchasing power than it originally loaned her.

d. Ms. Lane's repayment will give the bank the same purchasing power that it originally loaned her.'

Solution :

We have,

The borrowed amount, P = $ 1,000,

Interest rate, r = 10% = 0.1,

Time, t = 1 year,

Thus, the returned amount,

A=P(1+r)^t=1000(1+0.1)^1=1000(1.1) = \$ 1100

∵ A > P

⇒ Ms. Lane will repay the bank greater dollars than she initially borrowed.

Now,  the price level went up by 15 percent,

∵ 1000 + 15% of 1000 = 1000 + 150 = 1500

And, 1500 > 1100

⇒ Ms. Lane's repayment will give the bank less purchasing power than it originally loaned her.
