Your teacher asks you to mix two compounds to find out if the reaction is endothermic or exothermic
What will you do to determine which type of reaction is occurring?

If the resulting compound feels hot, then it is exothermic. Otherwise, it is endothermic.

Catalysts and inhibitors both affect the reaction rate of a chemical reaction. A catalyst speeds up the rate of reaction, while an inhibitor does the opposite (slows down the reaction rate).

What term describes an energy resource that can be used up?
AleksAgata [21]
Answer:
non-renewable energy resources are the ones that can be used up

Explanation:
Energy resources can be classified into two categories:
1- non renewable resources: these are the energy resources that cannot renew themselves. They are the resources that are formed from sources that can be consumed and run out. All fossil fuels are considered non renewable resources
Examples of non renewable energy resources: coal, oil, gas, petroleum , ......

2- renewable resources: these are the energy resources that are always present and can easily be renewed. Therefore, they do not come to an end.
Examples of renewable resources: solar energy, wind energy,.....

Based on the above, the energy resource that can be used up is the non renewable energy resource.

Hope this helps :)

Sidana [21]
The scientist thought that the atom was the smallest particle in the universe is John Dalton. The answer is letter B. He established the atomic theory which consists of five; elements are made of extremely small particles called atoms, atoms of different element have different sizes, mass and physic – chemical properties, atoms cannot be divided further, destroyed or created, atoms can combine to form compounds and in chemical reaction, atoms can be combined, separated or rearranged. J.J. Thompson discovered the electrons in the atom. Ernest Rutherford discovered the half – life of an atom and Neils Bohr explain the quantum mechanics.
