We need to find three fractions that match the shaded part of the drawing i.e we need to find the equivalent fractions .

Fractions whose lowest form are same are known as equivalent fractions.

\frac{8\times 2}{12\times 2}=\frac{16}{24}\\\\\frac{8\times 3}{12\times 3}=\frac{24}{36}\\\\\frac{8\times 4}{12\times 4}=\frac{32}{48}
