First, you have to do the formula:

A= 1/2(b1+ b2)×h

-----------------------------------------------------

Now plug in the numbers:

A=1/2(18+14)×12

----------------------------------------------------

Now solve:

A=1/2(18+14)×12

A=1/2(32)×12

A=16×12

A= 192in²

-------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, the answer is 192in²

  • Slope Formula: m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define</u>

Point (18, 0)

Point (10, -5)

<u>Step 2: Find slope </u><em><u>m</u></em>

Simply plug in the 2 coordinates into the slope formula to find slope <em>m</em>

  1. Substitute [SF]:                    m=\frac{-5-0}{10-18}
  2. Subtract:                              m=\frac{-5}{-8}
  3. Simplify:                               m=\frac{5}{8}
