1

Push hard, push fast. Place your hands, one on top of the other, in the middle of the chest. Use your body weight to help you administer compressions that are at least 2 inches deep and delivered at a rate of at least 100 compressions per minute.

2

Deliver rescue breaths. With the person's head tilted back slightly and the chin lifted, pinch the nose shut and place your mouth over the person's mouth to make a complete seal. Blow into the person's mouth to make the chest rise. Deliver two rescue breaths, then continue compressions.

Note: If the chest does not rise with the initial rescue breath, re-tilt the head before delivering the second breath. If the chest doesn't rise with the second breath, the person may be choking. After each subsequent set of 30 chest compressions, and before attempting breaths, look for an object and, if seen, remove it.

3

Continue CPR steps. Keep performing cycles of chest compressions and breathing until the person exhibits signs of life, such as breathing, an AED becomes available, or EMS or a trained medical responder arrives on scene.

Which sport from ancient China is said to be the predecessor of modern soccer?
Margaret [11]
Cuju, the soccer-like game in China, was introduced during the time of Qin Dynasty from 255 BC to 206 BC. Its popularity grew during the reign of the Han Dynasty's Emperor from 206 BC to 220 AD.

Initially, Cuju was played to train soldiers during the Qin Dynasty. It became a part of the Emperor's birthday celebration during the Han Dyanasty.

Cuju was played by both men and women. Its ball was made out of leather stuffed with soft fillings like fur. No hands must be used in playing the game. The ball must be kicked inside a net or a small hole. Team work is not needed since the focus of the game is to observe an individual's skills.

A patient has low blood oxygen levels, although the patient's blood is circulating properly. Which is most likely functioning im
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

In a patient who has low blood oxygen levels, although his blood is circulating properly, is most likely that alveoli are functioning improperly.

Explanation:

The supply of oxygen to the blood depends on the breathing process, performed by the respiratory system.

At the level of the pulmonary alveoli occurs gaseous exchange, this is the entry of oxygen from the inspired air and the elimination of CO₂ resulting from cell metabolism. If the alveoli do not function properly, the gas exchange will be deficient and there will not be enough oxygen in the blood and tissues.

The other options are not correct because of:

Capillaries , aorta and pulmonary vein are part of the circulatory system, on which the oxygenation of the tissues depends, not the oxygen content of the blood.
