Tybalt is a troublemaker and he is always keeping the hatred between the tow families alive. In the exchange, the audience learns that Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, wants to have a fight with Romeo. Romeo is about to marry Juliet. The plot detail, then, is related to the fact that the marriage will be held in secret in a hatred laden atmosphere.
