√(t + 3) = 14 ← -2 both sides
  t + 3 = 196 ← square both sides
  t = 193  ← subtract 3 from both sides

5x² + 8x + 3 = 0  ← put in standard form

(5x + 3)(x + 1) = 0 ← factor

5x + 3 = 0 or x + 1 = 0 ←Zero product property

x = - \frac{3}{5}   or x = -1

gogolik [260]

Answer:

Daniel would have to earn 35 or more points to put him and his teammate ahead.

Step-by-step explanation:

Daniel: 40 points

Zeke: 75 points

Opposing team: 150

Daniel + Zeke + x = Opposing team

40 + 75 + x = 150

150 = 40 + 75 + x

150 = 115 + x

150 - 115 = x

35 = x

A line passes through the point (-2, 6) and has a slope of 6.
TEA [102]

Answer:

y = 6x + 18

Step-by-step explanation:

so first write y = 6x + b (because you have the slope) now to find the y-intercept input the point (-2, 6) and do algebra

6 = 6(-2) + b

6 = -12 + b

b = 18
