Since with have both the distance and the velocity of both cars, we can calculate their velocities, which is distance/time.

Roger:

2 miles in 7.5 minutes -> 1h = 60min -> \frac{7.5 min}{60 min} = 0,125h

2 miles in 0,125h -> \frac{2 miles}{0,125h} = 16miles/hour = 16mph

Natalie

2 miles in 6.5 minutes -> 1h = 60min -> \frac{6.5min}{60min} = 0,1083h

2 miles in 0,1083h -> \frac{2 miles}{0,1083h} = 18,46 miles/hour = 18,46mph

With their velocities in hand you can draw your own conclusions ;)

Anastaziya [24]

Answer: B. means that part of a city is connected to the world economy, but most is not

Explanation: Splintering urbanism is a term proposed by geographers Steven Graham and Simon Marvin to refer to the ways in which resources and infrastructures, including information and communication technologies, can separate or differentiate the experience of the city.

Splintering Urbanism makes an indepth analysis of the complex interactions between infrastructure networks found in urban spaces. It creates a different perspective of understanding urban change, bringing together discussions about: globalization and the city, how technology is affecting the society, urban space and networks as well as infrastructure and its effect on the built environment.

It basically talks about the differences infrastructure has on the economy of different parts of the same city.

Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

- Factorial

Explanation:

'Factorial design' is characterized as the research pattern in which all combinations of multiple parameters or independent variables are examined.

The given details match the above description of testing two factors across various levels('Weight loss method + Motivational speech,' 'Weight loss Method + Informational Video,' etc.). Thus, it exemplifies a '<u>factorial design</u>' as it primarily aims to test the distinct effects of a variable/factor on different levels and also the outcomes produced by communication of two independent variables. This assists in determining a valid conclusion that can be relied upon.
