Answer with explanation:

Yes, it is a true statement ,that Cartesian coordinate system can have three dimensions .

There are many types of Cartesian coordinate system, some of them are

1. One Dimensional Cartesian coordinate system →→ Only a single number has to be represented.So, to represent this number you have to draw either a vertical or horizontal line,on which Positive and Negative real numbers are marked on that line.

2. Two Dimensional Cartesian coordinate system →→ An ordered pair, in the form of ,(x,y) has to be represented , with the help of two perpendicular lines,called X and Y axis.

3. Three Dimensional Cartesian coordinate system →→ A triplet is to be represented , that is ,(x,y,z) with the help of three mutually perpendicular lines, called ,x , y and z axes.

So, →→With the Reason Explained above, you can say with surety that,  the Cartesian coordinate system can have three or more dimensions.

For a pair of similar triangles, corresponding sides are always congruent.<br> True or false?
baherus [9]

That's false.
For similar triangles, corresponding angles are congruent.
Corresponding sides are in the same ratio but rarely congruent.
(They're congruent only if the ratio is ' 1 ', i.e. the triangles are congruent
as well as being similar.)

What do you think the hypervolume of a hypercube is? Why?
gavmur [86]

Answer:

a^4 Where (a) is the side length of the hypercube

Step-by-step explanation:

A dimension can be simply defined as a direction in which matter can move it.

We live in a 3-dimensional world, matter can move in three basic directions. The formula for finding the volume of a cube is the following: (a^3). In the second dimension, a flat world, the area for the volume of a square is as follows: (a^2). However, a hypercube is a paradox, as it exists in 4-dimensions, thus it cannot exist in our world. However, scientists propose "String theory" which requires that matter can move in more directs than the (3) we know of in our world. In essence, there can be more than 3 dimensions. A hypercube is the 4-dimensional version of a cube. If it follows the area pattern that a square-object follows in all preceding dimensions then the area of a hypercube is (a^4).

Bear in mind that the area patter for a square-object is generally the following:

a^n

Where (a) is the side length of the square-object

(n) is the dimension the object is in.

Please keep in mind, this answer was written in the June of 2021, as science keeps progressing and new discoveries are made, this theory can be disproven. Therefore, this answer might be considered correct now, but it can be proven incorrect in the future.

Given that
yulyashka [42]

Answer:

y = - 49

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

7x - 2y = 35 ← substitute x = - 9 into the equation

7(- 9) - 2y = 35, that is

- 63 - 2y = 35 ( add 63 to both sides )

- 2y = 98 ( divide both sides by - 2 )

y = - 49
