The modern committees were created by the Legislative Reorganization Act in 1946. There are many types of Committees in the House of Representatives, the main objective of the committees is to consider bills and issues and measure the impact of those bills. Sometimes, the committee is created especially for a bill, this committee is called Select or special committee, it is established by a separate resolution to conduct studies and to consider measures.
