Answer: Blood diamond
Explanation:
This film is set in Sierra Leone, a country that belongs to the African continent. While the civil war takes place, two people embark on a dangerous adventure to find a very valuable stone.
This movie touched me in a very strong way because of how the abuse occurred to the families of that place. It is no surprise to many that wars are taking place in various countries of the African continent due to the precious stones in that place. It was very sad to see how the children were separated from their families to make them violent warriors.
It is a situation where I try to put myself in the shoes of many of these families, the pain of being separated and being used for negative purposes is something I would not like to experience. The pain that families feel when they know that at any moment their existence can end, being used as slaves and not having the opportunity to say anything is something that hurts.
This movie allows us to see parts of Africa that we often ignore. A terrible war is being waged in many parts of this continent for certain groups to feed their wealth and their evil.
Lots of things.

Answer:
The line is a metaphor for:
B. A life without dreams.
Explanation:
Let's take a look at the poem:
Hold fast to dreams

For if dreams die

Life is a broken-winged bird

That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams

For when dreams go

Life is a barren field

Frozen with snow.

As we can see above, in the first stanza the author compares life to a broken-winged bird after mentioning the death of dreams. What the author means is that a life without dreams is as purposeless as a bird that cannot fly. Dreams are what makes life worth living, what gives us a sense of purpose. Without them, there is no reason to go on.
