Answer:

Polar molecules are unable to go across unless they are crossed with the help of the protein channel.

Due to the semi-permeable nature of the plasma membrane polar molecules and molecules with high molecular weight are unable to cross the membrane.

Their transportation across the cell membrane is facilitated by integral transmembrane proteins or carrier proteins which form channels across the membrane.

For example, fructose in the small intestine is transported into the cell with the help of GLUT5 transporter.

they pass through channels in the cell membrane

Further Explanation:

Membranes of different organisms are rich in lipids, a bio molecule, which is hydrophobic in nature. Due to this reason, amino acids which are hydrophobic in nature will become part of proteins, residing on the external surface of the membrane, so that they can interact with the membrane through hydrophobic interactions. Hydrophobic amino acids, such as leucine and phenylalanine interact with hydrophobic phospholipid and help in holding the protein together.

And the amino acids, which are having charged side chains will become part of the proteins, present inside the cell.A trans membrane pump (transporter protein) is associated with membrane. It helps in the movement of nutrients from one side to another by some components of cells, such as vesicles. It carries out a facilitated diffusion process.

A recipe for a cake calls for both liquid and dry ingredients. If you are following the recipe, how will the order in which you
Nookie1986 [14]

It will have no effect because the order in which ingredients are mixed will not change the fact that matter cannot be created nor destroyed.

Effect occurs on mass

The order in which we add the ingredients do not affect the mass of the batter because the order in which ingredients are mixed will not change the fact that matter cannot be created nor destroyed.

The mass of the batter remains the same due to the incorporation of same quantity of ingredients so we can conclude that option A is the right answer for this question.

The lymphatic system: Group of answer choices has a pumping mechanism to move fluid. is the site of B and T cell clonal deletion
Luden [163]

The lymphatic system includes areas of high concentrations of APCs, T and B cells.

What is the lymphatic system?

The lymphatic system is a branch of the circulatory system which consists of a system of organs , tissues, cells and vessels known as lymphatic vessels, which help transport the fluid, lymph around the body.

The lymphatic system contains high concentration of immune cells.

Therefore, the lymphatic system includes areas of high concentrations of APCs, T and B cells.

The primary goal of modern systematics is construct 'family trees' that exhibit _________________ relationships Question 5 optio
Neko [114]

Answer:

Polyphyletic relationships .

Explanation:

The primary goal of modern systematics is construct 'family trees' that exhibit polyphyletic relationships because systemics deals with grouping or organising living organisms into groups base on biological meanings of function and polyphyletic relationships which is organising or grouping of organisms that don't have common ancestors Into different groups or unrelated organisms.
