Use the Pythagorean theorem, tan is y/x so y = -3 and x= -2. Because cos is negative and R is always positive. You need to find R- which is the hypotenuse;
3^2 + 2^2 = r^2
9 + 4 = r^2
13 = r^2
√13 = r.

So you already have tanθ,
cotθ= 2/3

sinθ= -3/√13 BUT
you have to rationalize, so you get -3 √13/ 13

cscθ= √13/ -3

cosθ= -2/ √13 BUT
you have to rationalize, so you get -2√13/ 13

secθ= √13/ -2

Answer:

The formula of the volume of a cylinder is known as follow

V= πr²h

Where

π is 3,14 or 22/7.

d (diameter) is a straight line segment that crosses a center and connects two points on the circle.

r is the radius of the to part of the cylinder.

h is the height.

we can subsitute to our formula knowing that

d = 4cm (turn to r = 2cm,because the formula use r) ; h = 11cm

V = πr²h

= 3,14 × 2² × 11

= 3,14 × 4 × 11

= 3,14 × 44

= 138,16 rounded off (138,2cm3) result

What is the perimeter in units of this rectangle?
Aleks04 [339]
16 units. The long side is 7. And the short sides are 1. 7+1=8. Then you would multiply that by 2. Since each value should represent two sides. You get 16 after that

you deposit 1000 in savings account that earns .5% each month assuming you do not deposit or withdraw any money from the account
ikadub [295]

Answer:

$1015.11

Step-by-step explanation:

Compounded interest rate formula: A = P(1 + r/n)^t

Step 1: Plug in known variables

A = 1000(1 + 0.005/12)^36

Step 2: Multiply it all together

1000(1.00042)^36

1000(1.01511)

1015.11

This is a pretty bad bank considering only giving you .5% interest per month.
