Loess is composed of minerals and rocks which is formed by blowing of wind. The sediments are of micrometer sediments. Loess are composed of clay, sand, and slit which are held together by calcium carbonate.
Loess is porous sediment which are round and polished. These sediments are mostly found in Eastern part of China and Midwestern part of America. The loess stays in vertical face and remains like that for many years without any slumping.
The correct option is LOESS. Loess refers to a compacted yellowish deposit of wind blown sediments which is usually found extensively in the mid latitudes. Loess is formed by the accumulation of dust that had been blown by the wind. Scientists believed that about 10% of the earth's land area is covered by loess.<span />
