The Gila Trail is considered to be one of the oldest trails in America, the trail starts in the desert region following the rivers of the Gila and the San Pedro. The trail is stretched from Taxes (Santa Fe) to Los Angeles. The trail helped the fur trappers in 1820s, along with the miners to follow California during the gold rush in 1848.
