<span>In Utopia, Sir Thomas More seems to be criticizing the political and religious corruption of the European society around him. He feels that nobles like Henry VIII are taking advantage of the poor rather than providing for the poor. In effect, poor people are stealing to survive and punished unfairly. In his descriptions of Utopia the island, More was pointing out changes that could be made in Europe to serve the common good of all people.   i hope this helps you graduate. </span>
