The statement that eggs produced by the ovaries are carried into the uterus by the fallopian tubes is true. During ovulation the ovaries produce eggs.  Fallopian tubes are narrow tubes that are attached to the upper part of the uterus and serve as tunnels for the egg cells to travel from the ovaries to the uterus.

Which pathway of the homeostasis feedback loop carries a message towards<br> the control center? *
iren [92.7K]
Homeostasis relates to dynamic physiological processes that help us maintain an internal environment suitable for normal function. Homeostasis is not the same as chemical or physical equilibrium. Such equilibrium occurs when no net change is occurring: add milk to the coffee and eventually, when equilibrium is achieved, there will be no net diffusion of milk in the coffee mug. Homeostasis, however, is the process by which internal variables, such as body temperature, blood pressure, etc., are kept within a range of values appropriate to the system. When a stimulus changes one of these internal variables, it creates a detected signal that the body will respond to as part of its ability to carry out homeostasis.

What is a characteristic of a sedentary person
Valentin [98]
Sedentary individuals are often lethargic and show early symptoms of obesity. Less exercise means a slower metabolism. A slower metabolism means that even if an individual is eating what they normally should, it will take them a longer time to burn off the calories they gain.
