I am positive it is 27. Really you just have to read carefully. 9 books and she wants to bring 3 only You cant add it thats dumb.

Cant Subtract because your answer wouldn't even be the options.

Dividing, the answer would be 3 so no

Multiplication is apprentely the way to go.

9 times 3 is 27

Answer:

Option B is right.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that there are totally 9 books unread by Mrs. Reid.  OUt of these she wants to take only 3 books on the trip.

For books order does not count.

Hence combinations would be appropriate to calculate.

3 books out of 9 can be selected in

9C 3 ways

No of ways of selecting 3 books for the trip out of 9 = \frac{9(8)(7)}{1(2)(3)} =84

There are just 84 ways of choosing 3 books to bring on the trip out of 9 unread books.

Option B is right.

What's the product of 3 2⁄3 and 14 2⁄5 ?
kodGreya [7K]

Here is your answer:

3 2/3 = 11/3

14 2/5 = 72/5

11 × 72 = 792

3 × 5 = 15

792/15 divided into 52\frac{12}{15}

12 ÷ 3 = 4

15 ÷ 3 = 5

"= 52 4/5 into a improper fraction is 264/5"

Hope this helps!

cupoosta [38]

Answer:

5 máquinas.

Step-by-step explanation:

Entonces nuestras máquinas van a trabajar a:

(90%/100%)*R = 0.9*R

16 máquinas juntas trabajaran en total a 16 veces esa cantidad, o:

16*0.9*R

6*10h = 60h

60 horas.

Entonces podemos plantear la ecuación:

(16*0.9*R)*60h = 4800 artículos.

Ahora podemos despejar el valor de R.

R = (4800 artículos)/(16*0.9*60 horas) = 5.556 artículos/hora

Ahora:

N = (1200 artículos)/((0.6*R)*72horas)

N = (1200 artículos)/((0.6*5.556 artículos/hora)*72horas) = 5

Se necesitaran 5 máquinas.
