Answer:

b) Popular opinion turned against South African apartheid.

Explanation:

With the news reports circulating far and wide, the International community focused on the cruel conditions of black individuals under the Apartheid in South Africa. Especially after the Sharpeville occurrence of 1960, where black people that were dissenting were shot by the Police. In this incident, 69 people died and 186 were injured. So the motivation behind why the U.S. in the long run quit supporting South Africa was that popular opinion tturn against South Africa Apartheid.

What was the effect the slave trade had on African nations?
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

The slave trade had devastating effects in Africa. Economic incentives for warlords and tribes to engage in the slave trade promoted an atmosphere of lawlessness and violence. Depopulation and a continuing fear of captivity made economic and agricultural development almost impossible throughout much of western Africa.

The treaty was signed at Brest-Litovsk (Polish: Brześć Litewski; since 1945 Brest), after two months of negotiations. The treaty was agreed upon by the Bolshevik government to stop further advances by German and Austro-Hungarian forces. Why did the people of russia looked to boris yeltsin for leadership instead of to mikhail gorbachev in late 1991?
lianna [129]
One reason why the people of Russia looked to boris yeltsin for leadership instead of to mikhail gorbachev in late 1991 is because it was clear by this point that the Soviet Union had ended, and they wanted someone more willing to form ties with the west.
