Answer:

In evolutionary studies, absolute dating can be described as a method which scientists use to date any material that they find. Relative dating is a method in which scientists try to puts the geological events in a relative order. In absolute dating, the exact age of the rock will be calculated by the scientist. In relative studies, the scientist will try to place the rock in the best geologic time in which the rock might have existed.

The most common method for absolute dating is the method of radiometric dating. Radioactive minerals present in the rock act as geologic time which are determined by the scientists.

If the planet were to cool in the future, snow may begin to accumulate in the head of a glacier more rapidly than it would melt
Phoenix [80]

Answer:

The glaciers will accumulate more in amount when the planet cools, and this will result in the slow expansion of glaciers, extending horizontally and downward, due to the pressure exerted by the glaciers. The glaciers will be rapidly accumulated in the glacier head in comparison to the zone of wastage, which covers the region below the snowline. These glaciers moves at a fairly slow rate, under the influence of gravity.

As the planet cools, the terminus of the glaciers (glacier end or toe) will expand and will be distributed more outward and downward, and there will be more quantity of snow in a cool planet.

The small cell extensions that beat to create an up-ward current are called microvilli.

What are microvilli?

Microvilli are small extensions which are found on the surface of the alveoli of the lungs.

The microvilli play an important role in the lungs as the help to remove particles and mucus that may obstruct the lungs as a result of the upward current they create in the lungs from their beating motion.

Therefore, the paralyzed small cell extensions that beat to create an up-ward current are called microvilli.
