Hi,

The sum of ten and a number.

Usually AND refers to adding, that's just the rules of math according to writing equation. Times would be multiplying, taking away is subtraction and divided by is dividing.

So if the question uses AND, it's adding.

A

Supplementary angles definition: They add up to 180°

There are several ways to prove a parallelogram:

1. Opposite sides theorem converse

2. Opposite angles theorem converse

3. Parallelogram diagonals theorem converse

4. Parallel congruent sides theorem

∠P + ∠Q = 180° --1

∠P + ∠S = 180° --2

1: ∠P = 180° - ∠Q

Sub 1 into 2:

180° - ∠Q + ∠S = 180°

180° + ∠S = 180° + ∠Q

∠S = ∠Q

Or you can try saying the opposite sides are parallel, since they are interior angles and those are straight lines

Suppose the weights of farmer carl's potatoes are normally distributed with a mean of 8.0 ounces and a standard deviation of 1.1
denis23 [38]
Given that <span>the weights of farmer carl's potatoes are normally distributed with a mean of 8.0 ounces and a standard deviation of 1.1 ounces.

The probability of a normally distributed data between two values (a, b) is given by:

P(a\ \textless \  X\ \textless \  b)=P\left(z\ \textless \  \frac{b-\mu}{\sigma/\sqrt{n}} \right)-P\left(z\ \textless \  \frac{a-\mu}{\sigma/\sqrt{n}} \right) \\  \\ =P(7.5\ \textless \ X\ \textless \ 8.5)=P\left(z\ \textless \  \frac{8.5-8.0}{1.1/\sqrt{6}} \right)-P\left(z\ \textless \  \frac{7.5-8.0}{1.1/\sqrt{6}} \right) \\  \\ =P(z\ \textless \ 1.113)-P(-1.113)=0.8672-0.1328=0.7344</span>

A linear function F models a relationship in which the dependent variable decreases 6 units for every 3 units the independent va
Aleonysh [2.5K]

A. Finding the slope

The slope of the function is simply the ratio of the value of the dependent variable over the independent variable, so in this case it is:

slope = 6/ 3 = 2

B. Finding the y – intercept

The y – intercept is simply the value of the dependent variable when the independent variable is equal to zero, therefore:

y – intercept (b) = 4

C. Finding the function of the graph

The general equation of a line is given as:

y = m x + b

where m is the slope and b is the y intercept therefore:

y = 2 x + 4

D. Finding the x – intercept

The x – intercept is simply the value of the independent variable (x) when the dependent variable (y) is equal to zero, therefore:

0 = 2 x + 4

x = - 2

E. Graph the function
