"Conservation a National Duty" is a speech done by President Theodore Roosevelt, who served as such during the years 1858-1919, during the proceedings of the Conference of Governors, which took place at the White House, in May of 1908.

The president, in his speech, charges morality, progress and patriotism as a national responsibility. He says: "The natural resources of our country are in danger of exhaustion if we permit the old wasteful methods of exploiting them longer to continue".

Although talking about the importance o conservation, and the part that civilization takes in it, Roosevelt is asking to his audience, to realize the importance of progress, and that there will not be any of it, if the society does not act as a whole, with morality and patriotism.

I kept going from one spot to another, they all were so entertaining, I also took some pictures with my friends, we all look so happy in it, and at night fireworks went off, the colors were so pretty and bright! It was such a memorable night. Had so much fun.
