If you're referring to George Bernard Shaw, many of his plays reflected his life mostly during his childhood. He had a rough life, his parents got divorced, his mom and sister left him. He didn't want to go to school so he became a critic instead.During his early years of becoming a writer, he failed 5 novels. But that didn't stop him from achieving success. After such time, his plays like Pygmalion became popular. Now, he has become one of the inspirations of the writers today.

Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

1) With the men coming home at the end of World War II, the women were expected to return to their duties as housewives and caretakers. This led to many decades of gender inequality, the effects of it we are still seeing today.

2) With the beginnings of the Cold War on the horizon, many Americans began creating intense and fanatical virtues of nationalism and American pride that, over the years, has incorporated trends of outright racism, bigotry, and misogyny.
