A whole pizza is equal to 100%

half of it is shared, so 50% is left

there are 4 friends, so divide 50% by 4,
50÷4 =12.5%

so each friend will get 12.5% of pizza

ANSWER ASAP!! WILL GIVE OR MORE POINTS TO THE FIRST ONE WHO ANSWERS!
Sergio [31]

Answer: See the picture attached.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following mixed numbers:

-2\frac{3}{4}\\\\-4\frac{1}{2}

You need to convert them to decimal numbers. The steps to do this are shown below:

1. Divide the numerator of the fraction by the denominator.

2. Add the quotient obtained to the whole number part.

Then:

-2\frac{3}{4}=-(2+0.75)=-(2.75)=-2.75\\\\-4\frac{1}{2}=-(4+0.5)=-(4.5)=-4.5

Therefore, the point is:

(-2.75,-4.5)

Where -2.75 is the x-coordinate and -4.5 is the y-coordinate.

Knowing this, you can plot it on the coordinate plane, as you can see in the picture attached.

a woman jogging at 6mi/hr passes a man biking in the opposite direction at 12mi/hr. If they maintain their speeds, how far from
s344n2d4d5 [400]
The woman is moving at 6mi/hr which means 1mi per 10 minuets because 1 hour = 60 minuets and she is moving 6 mi every 60 minutes which means 1 mi every 10 minuets , same thing for that man 12 mi every hour = 2 mi every 10 minuets , and because of the opposite direction we will add 2 + 1 = 3mi after 10 minuets. I hope that helped u a little bit.

How many 1/4 ft cubed make up the volume of this prism ?
DIA [1.3K]

Answer:

Each cube with side lengths of 1/4 has a volume of (1/4)3 which means each cube's volume is 0.015625 cubic units. To find how many cubes are needed to fill the prism, divide 3 cubic units by 0.015625 cubic units. Your answer will be 192 cubes.

Find all points having an x-coordinate of 5 whose distance from the point (2, 6) is 5
galina1969 [7]

Answer:

(5,2) and (5,10)

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

the formula to calculate the distance between two points is equal to

d=\sqrt{(y2-y1)^{2}+(x2-x1)^{2}}

we have

points\ (2,6),(5,y)\\d=5

substitute in the formula

5=\sqrt{(y-6)^{2}+(5-2)^{2}}

solve for y

5=\sqrt{(y-6)^{2}+(3)^{2}}

5=\sqrt{(y-6)^{2}+9}

square both sides

25=(y-6)^{2}+9

(y-6)^{2}=25-9

(y-6)^{2}=16

square root both sides

y-6=\pm4

y=6\pm4

y=6+4=10

y=6-4=2

therefore

The points are

(5,2) and (5,10)
