The print gave people the new chance to educate themselves in reading, it also created the opportunity to create a newspaper which helped the people be informed and the economy because it was the new way of communicating new. The transportation made it easier for Britain and its colonies to become more closely connected.

<span>Britain and its colonies became more closely connected, burgeoning print culture flooded colonies with information and ideas; abundance of imported goods reshaped material culture by bringing cultures to lives of the middling sort, but let wealthy set themselves apart in a new way; printed materials kept colonies updated and informed, allowed for transmission of new enlightenment and pious ideas, colonies began to print their own newspaper, hope this was helpful!</span>

5. What change was often seen in the physical arrangement of plantations after the Civil War
jekas [21]

After the Civil War (1861-1865), the land was divided into small parcels and started to be rented or sharecropped. At that time slavery was condemned, so former slaves became those sharecroppers who rented the land of plantations in order to stand for a living by producing and sharing the crops. The owners or the new sharecropped demolished slaves’ old housing and built new ones near the main house. Besides, owners had to start paying taxes in cash which produced an impoverishment of plantations.

What does "And Yet the Books" have to do with Nazis
Vika [28.1K]

Answer:

And yet the books will be there on the shelves, separate beings,

That appeared once, still wet

As shining chestnuts under a tree in autumn,

And, touched, coddled, began to live

In spite of fires on the horizon, castles blown up,

Tribes on the march, planets in motion.

“We are, ” they said, even as their pages

Were being torn out, or a buzzing flame

Licked away their letters. So much more durable

Than we are, whose frail warmth

Cools down with memory, disperses, perishes.

I imagine the earth when I am no more:

Nothing happens, no loss, it’s still a strange pageant,

Women’s dresses, dewy lilacs, a song in the valley.

Yet the books will be there on the shelves, well born,

Derived from people, but also from radiance, heights.
