5. Carrying Capacity

I BELIVE 1. Is C. I’m assuming body mass just means the amount of bodies. So, the more bodies, the higher the population. You can have a high body mass, but still low density. For ex, if there are 30 ducks in a 10ft by 10 for pond, and 40 ducks in a 200ft by 100ft pond, the pond with 40 ducks technically has a higher population, but the density is much smaller because the ducks are spread out over a much larger space.
Number 7 is carrying capacity. When the graph levels out, that means the population has stopped growing because the environment can not sustain any more of the particular organism.

PLS HELP!!!!!!!!!! Describe the structure and function of the cell membrane.
natulia [17]
The structure is a phospholipid bilayer. There are many phospholipids which contain a water loving phosphate end and a water hating lipid (fatty) end. The phosphate ends all point out words while the fatty ends are inside.

The purpose is protection of the cell as well as allowing certain molecules to enter and exit the cell

The rate of respiration (how fast you breathe) is determined by which amount of gas in the blood? A.Oxygen b.Nitrogen c.Carbon D
andrey2020 [161]

Answer:

c. Carbon Dioxide

Explanation:

The rate of respiration is determined by the presence of concentration of carbondioxide gas in the blood because in the process of respiration, energy in the form of adenine tri phosphate (ATP) and carbondioxide gas are produced. This ATP is required for performing different activities while carbondioxide gas is a waste product which must be removed from the blood through breathing. If carbondioxide gas is produced quickly so the rate of respiration is also increased in order to remove the gas from the blood.

Explain in at least five sentences what you've learned about how
mestny [16]

Explanation: I'd first address the issue as a whole and explain the meaning and the general impacts of climate change, then use a variety of different places. For example, global warming causes the ice caps to melt in Antarctica. Then, explain how this has an impact on the environment meaning that polar bears could be in life-threatening situations and possibly even become extinct in the future which has a further impact on other animals in that food chain and ecosystem. This is just one example. You could also explain the unbearable heat in countries nearer the equator, which prevent crops from growing; the sea levels rising; or extreme weather events like huge flooding or heatwaves. It depends what you have learnt about in class, but I'm assuming it would be about this sort of thing.
