G(t) = 5/2 t - 3/2
t = 3
so we substitute the given into the function

g(3) = 5/2 (3) - 3/2
first multiply the 5/2 by 3
you get 15/2
then
g(3) = 15/2 - 3/2
g(3) = 6

So A. 6

Hope this helps :)

Charles has rolled a 6-sided die three times and it landed on 3 each time. What is the probability of getting a 3 on the 4th rol
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

The answer would be D - 1/6

This is because there are six sides to the die and just because he rolled all 3s before it does not mean he has a better chance to roll a 3 now.

Since there is only 1 3 on the six sided die there is a 1/6 chance he would roll a 3.

The lunch lady has 6 pounds of lasagna left over. If she makes 1/2-pound servings, how many servings of lasagna can she serve wi
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer: 12 servings

Step-by-step explanation:

If the lunch lady makes equal servings of 1/2 pound each and she had 6 pounds total it would be written like this: 6÷1/2

but you can't divide by a fraction so you multiply by the opposite reciprocal like this 6×2/1 or just 6×2

which gives you your answer of 12

There is a sales tax of $8 on an item that costs $82 before tax. A second item costs $123 before tax. What is the sales tax on t
ser-zykov [4K]
To find the tax rate, you would need to find that 8 is 8/82≈.0976, or 9.76% of 82. Then use that to multiply by 123, which would be $12.

Another way is that you realize 82 is 2/3 of 123, so the tax would be 2/3 of what tax for $123 would be. So 8=2/3(x), and x=12.
