Let's think this mathematically. Bree took a math test, and doing her best, she scored 152 points. And this 152 points was really 85% of the total possible points on this math test. Now we're like, huh, what <em><u>IS</u></em> the total number of possible points! Too bad we can't just go to Bree's math teacher and ask-
There are many ways to find the answer. Number lines, equations. This is what I did:
52 / 85 = 0.85
Now move the decimal point two times to get a percentage which gives you 85%. Or you can just get rid of the decimal point and put a 100 as a denominator. It's still the same thing.
The correct answer is D because there is one area that is a cluster (bundle of dots in one area) and one outlier (away from all the other points; irrelevant).
