The cost of the old computer server system was $210000
The depreciation is $147000
The book value of the old system is
$210000 - $147000 = $63000
With the additional cash
$63000 + $180000 = $243000

The new system costs $235000

There is a difference of $10000.

The journal entries for the given above would include the following:
   (1) Initial cost: $210,000
   (2) depreciation: $147,000
   (3) final value of old server: $63,000
   (4) cash on hand: $180,000

In fact, the price of the depreciated old system is equal to $63,000 and that the money out of $180,000 will actually mean that the new system was bought for $243,000. This is slightly higher compared to the true price of the new system.

sasho [114]

Answer:

7.5%

Explanation:

A forever series formula for the interest rate is  i = A / PV

Annual benefits = $75,000

Present value = $1,000,000

Thus, i = $75,000 / $1,000,000

i = 0.075

i = 7.5%

Therefore, the internal rate of return is 7.5%

AleksandrR [38]

Answer: B. a traditional economy

Explanation:A traditional economy is one which doesn't operate under a profit motive.

Instead, it emphasizes the trading and bartering of products and services that enable participants to subsist in a specific region, community and/or culture. Largely, traditional economies are a way of life in underdeveloped countries that rely more on old-fashioned economic models like farming or hunting than on newer-age modes like industry and technology.

mafiozo [28]

Answer:

false

Explanation:

The Coase theorem states that parties in dispute should seek an optimal solution to their problem regardless of how property rights were initially distributed.

In this case, you need to find an agreement that satisfies both Darnell and Jacques regardless of who initially would have been considered to be right about the argument. Conflicts over rights to use property can be solved when parties settle on the efficient use of inputs. E.g. they could establish hours at which Darnell can listen to rock n' roll, and other hours when he shouldn't. That way both of them can enjoy the music they like and not bother the neighbors.

An optimal solution can always be reached regardless of initial distribution of rights.
