If a repressor protein attaches to the operator, RNA polymerase cannot proceed to transcribe key enzymes needed by the organism. This can be seen in the trp operon in E .coli bacteria.

How are hydrogen bonds related to polarity?
levacccp [35]
Polarity affects hydrogen bonding because hydrogen bonding occurs due to a bond being polar. One side of the bond will be slightly more negative because it's pulling more electrons towards itself and the other side of the bond will be more positive. Therefore the partially positive bond of one molecule will be attracted to the partially negative bond of another molecule. This is called an intermolecular force and hydrogen bonds are the strongest intermolecular force.

An airplane flies with a constant speed of 768 km/h. How long will it take to travel a distance of 2496 kilometers?
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

The correct answer is - 3 hours 15 minutes.

Explanation:

Given:

Speed = 768 km/h

distance = 2496

Solution:

Converting speed in km/minutes:

768/60 = 12.8

Now by the formula,

Time = distance/speed

time = 2496/12.8

=195 minutes

converting in hour  = 195/60

= 3 hour 15 minutes.
