Yes because the median and range are not a function of the totality of the sample set, the median is just value that is halfway of the set. and the range are the difference of the highest and lowest value. as long as the lowest values, highest value and the halfway value are the same in each set the median and range will be equal no matter what are the other values of the set.

The dimensions of a room are 4.2m by 6m. On a plan, the longer side is equal to 4 cm. What is the length of the shorter side on
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer: Length of shorter side is 2.8 cm.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Dimensions of a room are given by

4.2\ m\times 6\ m

On a plan,  the longer side = 4 cm

As we know that the ratio of original room is equal to ratio of plan room

So,

\frac{4.2}{6}=\frac{x}{4}\\\\4.2\times 4=6x\\\\16.8=6x\\\\\frac{16.8}{6}=x\\\\2.8=x

So, length of shorter side is 2.8 cm.

vlabodo [156]

Answer:

  QR(3), RS(3), PQ(3), ST(11), RP(6), RT(14), SP(9), QT(17)

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram is not shown, but we assume the points are in the sequence ...

  P, Q, R, S, T

Since QR = RS, R is apparently the midpoint of QS, So ...

23. QR = 6/2 = 3

24. RS = QR = 3

25. PQ = QR = 3

26. ST = PT -PQ -QS = 20 -3 -6 = 11

27. RP = PQ +QR = 3 +3 = 6

28. RT = RS +ST = 3 +11 = 14

29. SP = PQ +QS = 3 +6 = 9

30. QT = QS +ST = 6 +11 = 17

Find EM.<br> Can anyone help me with this?
Komok [63]

The little red dashes on the segments means they are congruent. EM = MG

Let's plug the expressions from the picture into our equation above.

7x = 8x - 6

Subtract 8x from both sides.

-x = -6

Divide both sides by -1

x = 6

EM = 7x = 7(6) = 42
