The median of the data in the box plot is 6.

The first quartile is 5.5 (median of first half of data set)
The third quartile is 7 (median of upper half of data set)
The lower extreme is 3.5 (lowest number in the data set)
The upper extreme is 7.5 (highest number in the data set)

Is it ever possible that cos (A−B)=cos ⁡A−cos ⁡B? Why or why not?
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

The given equation is never possible i.e cos ( A - B ) ≠ cos A - cos B

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

Is cos ( A - B ) = cos A - cos B

To check this possibility , Let us put the value of angle A and B on both side of equation

Now, Let A = 60°    and  B = 30°

From Left hand side equation

cos ( A - B ) = cos ( 60°  - 30° )

Or, cos ( A - B ) = cos 30°

∴   cos ( A - B ) = \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2}

or, cos ( A - B ) = 0.866

From Right hand side equation

cos A - cos B  =  cos  60° - cos  30°

Or,  cos A - cos B  =   \frac{1}{2} -  \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2}

∴,  cos A - cos B  = 0.5 - 0.866

I.e  cos A - cos B  = - 0.366

So, Left hand side ≠ Right hand side

Since while equating the values of angle A and b in the given equation on both sides, we get that the value of both sides are not equal , Thus we can say that the given equation is not equal to each other .

Hence given equation is never possible i.e cos ( A - B ) ≠ cos A - cos B Answer

suppose a hole of radius 1 is bored through a sphere of radius 2. what is the volume of the resulting shape
geniusboy [140]

Answer:

21.77

Step-by-step explanation:

Applying,

V = (4/3)π(R²-r²)³/²................. Equation 1

Where V = Volume of the resultant shape, R = radius of the sphere, r = radius of the hole bored, π = pie

From the question,

Given: R = 2, r = 1

Constant: π = 3.14

Substitute these values into equation 1

V = 4/3(3.14)(2²-1²)³/²

V = (12.56/3)(3)³/²

V = 4.19(5.196)

V = 21.77

How much more area does a large pizza with a 12in. diameter have than a small pizza with a 8 in. diameter? Round your answer to
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

A is the correct answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

First do 6 times 6 and then do 36 times 3.14 to get 113.04.

Then do 4 times 4 to get 16 times 3.14 for 50.24

Last do 113 minus 50 for 63 squared.
