The main idea cam from British farmer Charles Townsend (1674 – 1738) popularised these ideas in Britain increasing the food production. Not only in the mid 18 century the britans controlled India as India was then a country rich of of many natural minerals and especially cotton. This helped the Britan's to get huge amount of minerals variety's and quantity launch a full-scale production on to making clothing and other items to not only boost their economy but have better lives. Political pressure also kind of forced britan do do so as well. as some people grew poorer and poorer people protested for more jobs.
