But the colonists were mad because they had more taxes to pay then the British people because not only for their own affairs but also for running their own country they were also mad because in the middle ages the law says that no English Gentlemen could be taxed without representation in which they didn't have and even though they lived in America is still means your an English gentlemen because an English Gentlemen is a person who has lots of money and is in a higher rank.
