Natural selection is likely when there are stronger selection pressures. For example, a perpetual selection pressure is the fact that organisms have to compete for food and resources, meaning the best adapted ones survive. However, a stronger selection pressure may cause natural selection to occur more obviously. An example of this is when the number of white peppered moths decreased during industrialization in England due to the soot collecting on the trees. The change in population was very fast and obvious.

Two nuclei combine to form one nucleus in nuclear fission.
andre [41]
The answer is false.

The two main nuclear processes are nuclear fission and nuclear fusion.

In fission, a large nucleus is bombarded with a high energy neutron, resulting in the breakdown of the nucleus and the release of two smaller nuclei along with neutrons and high amounts of energy.

In nuclear fusion on the other hand, two smaller atomic nuclei possessing high amounts of energy to form a larger nucleus, with the possible release of neutrons. This process is also highly exothermic.

swat32
Most vaccines will cause your body to produce cells that in turn produce thier own antibodies in order to fight off future illnesses later on whereas antibiotics provide a quick dosage of antibodies with no prolonged immunity and in fact kill off alot of the good bacteria in your body
