Tracheoesophageal fistula

Tracheoesophageal fistula (TE) is a condition in which an abnormal channel (fistula) connects the trachea to the oesophagus. It is a birth defect and is characterized by extensive salivation with choking, vomiting and cyanosis during feeding.
