First we start out by factoring everything we can so our original problem changes to become : \frac{y^2}{y-3} x \frac{(y-3)(y+2)}{y(y+1)}
Next we cancel terms so since to have a (y-3) on top and the bottom they cancel out leaving you with : \frac{y^2(y+2)}{y(y+1)}
Again with a lone y on top and bottom we cancel terms leaving your answer as : \frac{y(y+2)}{y+1}

After factoring this gives

 y ( y + 2)              y^2 + 2
------------  =           ---------   y not equal  3 , 0 or -1
   y + 1                   y + 1

Its B

Write ln x^2+3 Iny a single logarithm (Picture provided)
____ [38]

Answer: option a.

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve the given exercise nad write the expression as a single logarithm, you must keep on mind the following properties:

ln(a)+ln(b)=ln(ab)\\m*ln(a)=ln(a)^m

Therefore, by applying the properties shown above, you can rewrite the expression given, as following:

lnx^{2}+3lny=lnx^2+lny^3=ln(x^2y^3)

Then, the answer is the option a.

Calculate the slope of (59,60) and (53,51) using the formula Y=mx+b
Tasya [4]
To find the slope for the formula it must be y2 - y1 divided by x2 - x1 so 51 - 60 divided by 53 - 59.
-9 divided by -6
=1.5
So your slope is 1.5 which you plug into the m value for the formula

In two or more complete sentences, explain how to find the time it takes for a rocket following the path of the parametric equat
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

This problem is easier than it appears to be at first glance! If we assume the ground is located at y = 0, then we only use the following equation to solve:

y = -9t + 18

0 = -9t + 18

-18 = -9t

t = 2

Therefore, it takes 2 units of time (whatever units the problem specifically states) for the rocket to hit the ground.
