During the S phase in the cell cycle, the chromosomes are replicated so that there are two copies. These copies are necessary so that each daughter cell created during the M phase will have an identical copy of the DNA.

Therefore, the answer is A: The DNA must be replicated.

The chromosomes joining, cell membrane expanding, and cytoplasm separating all happen during the M phase (mitosis).

Sort the items based on whether they have gravitational potential energy or chemical potential energy. liquid petroleum gasoline
poizon [28]

Explanation:

Gravitational potential energy is the energy of body due to its position in the gravitational field.

Whereas chemical potential energy is the energy within the chemical bonds of a substance.

For example, when we eat an apple then we get energy in our body so, it is the chemical potential energy stored in the apple.

Items sorted on the bases of gravitational potential energy and chemical potential energy are as follows.

Gravitational potential energy:

 • a ball thrown up in the air.
 • a stone rolling downhill.
 • water stored in an overhead tank.

Chemical potential energy:

 • liquid petroleum gasoline used in cars.
 • apples that people eat.
 • firecrackers that people set off.

Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) is a protein that catalyzes the conversion of acetylcholine to acetate and choline. When the concent
miv72 [106K]

The correct statement is that the concentration of acetylcholine will be inhibited by enzymes and can cause several diseases as follows:

 • Alzheimer's disease-related to damage to brain cells,
 • memory loss,
 • and thinking ability.

How to reduce the symptoms of these diseases is to use drugs that contain cholinesterase inhibitors.

Further Explanation

Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that plays an important role in the functioning of the autonomic nervous system. Acetylcholine is one of the most commonly recognized neurotransmitters or nerve stimulating chemicals. These neurotransmitter compounds can be found in the nervous system.

There are several side effects of the acetylcholine drug, which are as follows:

 • Can cause a lot of sweat
 • Excessive salivation
 • Stomach ache
 • Headache
 • Blood vessel dilation
 • Nausea and vomiting
 • Diarrhea is a sign of an increase in parasympathetic tone.

A cell with three pairs of chromosomes has the genotype Aa Bb Cc, with each locus on a different chromosome. If this cell were t
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

Same type of daughter cells

Explanation:

The process of mitosis form two daughter cells with the same number of chromosomes but the meiosis form four different daughter cells with a different number of chromosomes.

Also, the meiosis produces genetically different cell as the meiosis I is marked with the crossing over events which produces different genetic combination in the cell. In the given question, since the cell divides with the mitosis therefore the daughter cells will be produced with the same type of genetic material.

Thus, the same type of daughter cells is correct.

A student conducts an experiment to see how music affects plant growth. The student obtains four identical plants. Each one is p
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

Plant A listens to classical music for three hours each day

Explanation:

 • Music affect plant growth of plants through the vibrations that it creates to the sound waves.Classical music causes more pressure to the sound waves causing vigorous vibrations which is picked up by the plants speeding up the protoplasmic movement in the cells.
 • The vibrations causes movement of the plant cells which speed up growth of the plants by stimulating the plants to produce more nutrients enabling them to germinate having more leaves, greater in size and other improved characteristics which means the plant's genetic chromosomes were changed.
 • Also in the soil is able to produce good fungi and bacteria encouraging better root development due to healthy vines resulting to vigorous growth and better fruit.
 • Moreover the plants are able to receive special attention and care from the farmer thus enhancing faster growth.
