The correct answer is:

C. Assertion, evidence, assumption

Assertion-Evidence, assumption is a type of writting pattern in  which a sentence headline states the main message of the writing (Assertion). The Assertion will be later supported with evidence, could be testimony, visually with pictures, or in any way you want to complement your paragraph. After this, you create an "Assumption" based on all the data you obtained.

Similarly, in an inspector calls the inspector has one goal. Which is to try to depict a different perspective towards the Birlings. This is so that they feel guilty about what they did to Eva Smith. As Priestley wanted to use the inspector as a mouthpiece so to speak, which means he wanted to illustrate his ideas and opinions of socialism through the inspector.

What is an author's tone when they give information about a topic?
Lunna [17]
It depends what they are talking about.

If they are talking about the bombing of 9/11 then the tone would be serious, sad, mad at the other country for doing what they did.
But, if they are talking about a major- fun holiday- like Halloween then the tone would happy, excited, energetic! It just depends what the topic the author is talking about!!

Explicit textual evidence means
maw [93]

Answer:

Explicit textual evidence is stated directly in the text. So A does not fit here, that refers to implicit evidence. B is also not correct.  I would pick C here but I am not 100% sure.
